Mueller Forgings was the first company in America to commercially produce brass forgings. The success of these forgings in World War I and II, and in the commercial uses following each war led to the production of non-ferrous forgings of brass, bronze, copper, and aluminum. Through constant research and the introduction of the very latest machinery and methods, Mueller Forgings maintained this position of leadership in the forging industry for many years. Today, Mueller Forgings Co., stands as the longest standing and largest Forging Mill in North America in the world of brass, bronze, copper, and aluminum forgings.

Mueller Forgings Co. is an integral part of our vertical integration business model in the Industrial Metals business group, providing value-added services and products for our customers. Mueller Forgings Co. is completely equipped with core, mechanical, screw, and hydraulic press forging machines to produce brass, bronze, and aluminum parts of any practical size and shape. Advanced forging techniques, backed by more than 190 years of combined expertise and experience from our Forgings team, enables Mueller Forgings Co. to produce not only relatively simple forgings, but also intricate shapes, including those with bosses or cavities on two planes. Mueller Forgings serves in the middle of our vertical integration - providing near-net forgings for our customers which need minimal machining or re-work which saves them money on their bottom line. While Mueller Forgings Co. utilizes its on-site sister company for a majority of its materials, the company is known to source outside of that partnership to obtain any necessary alloys that our customers need to produce their parts.
